Lonely Planet is launching a revised edition of one of their bestselling travel books to reflect the changes around the world since the last guide was published 12 years ago.
"The Travel Book," an encyclopedic reference that features every country from A to Z, was first released a decade ago and sold a million copies.
The updated version is being re-released this fall and features 230 countries. Information includes the best times to visit, top things to do, what to see, and local phrases. The new volume also features 850 photos.
To promote the new edition, LP has created a new landing page for the book that features 360-degree virtual journeys through six continents at http://www.lonelyplanet.com/travel-book.
